VOCABULARY LIST #8 - Mr. Mercer's class; by Dennis Kazekin

1. To scan:

2.  Aroma:

- A pleasant noticeable smell.

4. To drool:

- To let a liquid come out of your mouth.

5. To flog:

- To sell or dispose of something quickly.

- I’ve tried to flog my bike on the Internet for years.

6. Abundance:

- A plentiful amount of something

- There is an abundance of noise in this classroom.

7. Sparse:

- Small in numbers or amount
- Scattered
- The population of the small island was sparse.

8. Charcoal:

- A black amorphous form of carbon made by heating wood or another organic matter in the absence of air.

9. Burrow:

10. Bush:
